Virginia School Boards Association President Makes Roadshow
Stop at Buckingham County Public Schools

Charlottesville, VA – Virginia School Boards Association (VSBA) President, Dr. Cardell Patillo, made a stop on the VSBA President’s Roadshow yesterday evening to Buckingham County Public Schools. During his visit, Dr. Patillo attended the school division’s banquet to honor retirees held at Buckingham Middle School.

While attending the banquet, Dr. Patillo engaged with retiring educators, administrators, and current school board members. He had the opportunity to personally express gratitude to the retirees for their years of service and dedication to fostering excellence in education. Dr. Patillo’s presence underscored VSBA’s commitment to supporting and celebrating the hardworking individuals who shape education in Virginia.

“I am thankful to have had the opportunity to connect with these educators in Buckingham County Public Schools as they retire from their positions,” stated Dr. Patillo. “Their strong commitment to education and their students is truly remarkable. I am thankful to have had the opportunity to speak with them and reflect on all the hard work that goes into fostering exceptional educational experiences for all our students.”

This was the 12th stop on the VSBA President’s Roadshow. Virginia school boards are encouraged to contact VSBA to be considered for a stop on the Roadshow.
