Virginia School Boards Association President to Visit
Southampton County School Board

Charlottesville, VA – The Virginia School Boards Association (VSBA) is pleased to announce that VSBA President, Dr. Cardell Patillo, will be visiting Southampton County Public Schools as part of the VSBA President’s Roadshow. This visit will take place during the Southampton County School Board Meeting on Monday, October 14, 2024.

As part of his Roadshow, Dr. Patillo is traveling across the Commonwealth to engage directly with local school boards and communities, discussing the unique challenges and opportunities they face. The Roadshow is designed to highlight the innovative approaches taken by school divisions, elevate the voices of local leaders, and strengthen the bond between school boards and the VSBA. Dr. Patillo’s stop in Southampton County marks the 22nd stop on his ongoing Roadshow, a statewide initiative to engage with school boards and communities across Virginia. During the meeting, Dr. Patillo will have the opportunity to address the Southampton County School Board briefly, emphasizing the VSBA’s dedication to supporting school boards across the Commonwealth.
