VSBA President Dr. Cardell Patillo to Visit Spotsylvania County
School Board on the President’s Roadshow
Charlottesville, VA – The Virginia School Boards Association’s President, Dr. Cardell Patillo, will continue his President’s Roadshow with a visit to Spotsylvania County Public Schools on Monday, February 12, 2024.This meeting will take place at the historic John J. Wright School. Monday’s visit is an opportunity to celebrate school board members and local educators alike for their crucial role in creating a brighter future for our students.
As the President’s Roadshow continues, the VSBA emphasizes the importance of recognizing the exceptional efforts of school board members who work to create positive learning environments for students. Prior to the meeting, the division will also be hosting a reception for all the division’s teacher of the year representatives from each school. Dr. Patillo looks forward to participating in meaningful discussions and recognizing local educators.
“I am honored to continue the President’s Roadshow with a visit to Spotsylvania County Public Schools, engaging directly with local school board members and celebrating their vital role during School Board Appreciation Month,” said Dr. Patillo. “We recognize the commitment and dedication of these board members in shaping the educational landscape for our students. I am equally grateful to be able to celebrate the local educators in Spotsylvania and commend them on their hard work and dedication.”

This will be the fourth visit on the VSBA President’s Roadshow. Virginia school boards are encouraged to contact VSBA to be considered for a stop on the Roadshow.
