Veda Gresham Frazier has served as the At-Large member of the King William County Public Schools board since 2020. She was raised in King William County and graduated from King William High School. Veda has spent over twenty (20) years working with the Community Connection Program, providing alternative to detention programs and services to juveniles in Charles City, King & Queen, King William, Middlesex and New Kent Counties. Veda is married and has four (4) grown children; all who attended and graduated from King William Public Schools. She also has one (1) granddaughter who lives in Boston.
Over the years, Veda has served on many boards and commissions to include KW FAPT (Parent Rep), KW Parks & Recreation Commission, KW DSS Advisory Board and many school board appointments (Chesapeake Bay Governor’s School, Middle Peninsula Regional Special Education Program, KW Gifted & Talented Advisory, KW CTE, and many others). Her motto is “Kids First” and she tries to make everything she does benefit children.
