Rodney has served on the Norfolk School Board since 2012. He previously served as vice-chair and chair of the VSBA Tidewater Region, chair of the finance/audit committee, and as co-chair of the VSBA Task Force on Schools in Challenging Environments. Rodney served as the VSBA President in 2019-2020.
