Jason Hicks is a seasoned education professional with 24 years of dedicated service in teaching, coaching, and school leadership. Jason has held diverse roles throughout his career, including classroom teacher, head football coach, athletic director, and technology coach, showcasing his adaptability and commitment to student achievement and holistic development.

Currently serving as the Supervisor of Testing and School Safety for Wise County Schools, Jason oversees critical functions to ensure secure, effective educational environments and accurate assessment practices. His leadership in this role demonstrates a steadfast commitment to both academic excellence and the well-being of students and staff.

Jason has been serving on the Dickenson County School Board for 5 years and is currently serving as chair of the school board.
