Virginia School Boards Association President to Visit Roanoke City School Board on the President’s Roadshow

Charlottesville, VA – The Virginia School Boards Association (VSBA) is excited to announce that VSBA President, Dr. Cardell Patillo, will be making his next stop on the President’s Roadshow to Roanoke City Public Schools. This visit will take place during the Roanoke City School Board meeting at William Fleming High School on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.

Dr. Patillo’s stop in Roanoke City is part of his ongoing effort to engage with school boards and communities across the Commonwealth. The President’s Roadshow aims to foster collaboration, share insights, and celebrate the successes of Virginia’s public schools. The school board meeting will begin with an introduction of Dr. Patillo and an opportunity for him to address the Board. This visit underscores the VSBA’s commitment to supporting school boards throughout Virginia.

“I am honored to attend the Roanoke City School Board meeting and witness the hard work and commitment of their board members,” said Dr. Patillo. “This visit is a testament to the dedication of Roanoke City Public Schools to providing excellent education to their students.”

This will be the 16th stop on the VSBA President’s Roadshow. Virginia school boards are encouraged to contact VSBA to be considered for a stop on the Roadshow.
